Can you get out what a toddler and a dog leave behind?
Usually, yes. Steam and hot water extraction lift ground-in food, spilled drinks, pet hair and the odors that come with them. A few things do not come out, dye transfer and old bleach marks among them, and we point those out at the walkaround before any work begins. Take the car seats out before we arrive so we can clean under them.
How often should a car out here be detailed?
A full detail once or twice a year suits most vehicles: one at the end of winter to get the salt out, and one at the end of summer. With kids, a dog or a long daily drive, a maintenance detail every one to three months keeps it from building up.
