Driving in West Bloomfield
Lakes, woods and county salt: what a car picks up here.
West Bloomfield sits between Bloomfield Township and Commerce Township, with Farmington Hills to the south and Cass Lake on the north side. Orchard Lake Road runs north to south through the middle, flanked by strip malls and shopping centers, and West Maple Road is the township's other main business road. The township does not run its own road crews: the Road Commission for Oakland County looks after every public road, salt trucks included.
Salt on the main roads, slush on yours
The county clears and salts by traffic, so Orchard Lake Road and Middlebelt are near the top of the list and subdivision streets are at the bottom. Your car picks up brine on the main road, then parks in whatever is still sitting on your own street. It packs in behind the wheels and soaks into the driver's mat, and a quick rinse does not shift it.
Cass Lake, Pine Lake and Walnut Lake
Cass Lake, the largest lake in the county, is partly in the township, and Pine Lake and Walnut Lake are inside it. Marshbank Park has a canoe and kayak launch and a fishing pier on Cass Lake. Wet gear and lake water soak into cargo areas and carpet, and getting them out is extraction work, not a vacuum.
Woodlands that stay standing
Inside West Bloomfield's designated woodlands, trees cannot be cut without going through the township first, and the 162 acre West Bloomfield Woods Nature Preserve has mature oak and hickory trees. Good for the place, hard on a car parked under branches: sap and bird droppings sit on the paint until they are properly washed off.
Gravel roads and what goes on them
Some residents here live on gravel roads. The county spreads sand on gravel roads in winter, because salt does not work on them, and sprays calcium chloride brine in summer on roads signed up for dust control. All of it ends up on the lower panels and in the carpet.
From West Bloomfield
About 25 miles, roughly 45 minutes. Plan it as a drop-off.
Set your map for 33115 Louise Ave, Clinton Township. The shop is just east of Kelly Road, on the north side of 14 Mile Road. That is about 25 miles from central West Bloomfield, roughly 45 minutes without traffic, and it puts you at the far edge of the area we serve. We work by appointment, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
Coatings, window film and machine polishing all need the bays: steady light, no dust, no wind and time to cure. Detailing is the one service that can travel, but we do not promise a mobile visit this far out. Tell us where you are and we will confirm what can come to you.

My car looks very good, the ceramic coating made a big difference to it. Josh and his team did a great job.
Norman R.2022 BMW 740i, 2 step paint correction and ceramic coating
These guys did an amazing job with my car, tint is perfect and the paint, it looks better than it would have in the showroom. 100% recommend this shop and the people who work on the car great job. Exceeded my expectations by leaps and bounds

Cannot wait to be a repeat customer, but truthfully won’t even need to be back for quite some time because of how thorough and well done my detailing was. I do not believe my car was even this clean when I picked it up from the dealership. Every person I worked with was kind, accommodating, and informative. …

Do you come to West Bloomfield for mobile detailing?
We do not promise it. West Bloomfield is at the far edge of our service area, and a mobile detail also needs a driveway or parking spot with room to walk the full perimeter of the vehicle. Tell us where you are when you request a free quote and we will confirm what can come to you. If a mobile visit is not possible, the same packages are done at the shop. See how mobile and valet work.
How far is your shop from West Bloomfield?
About 25 miles from central West Bloomfield, roughly 45 minutes without traffic. We are in Clinton Township at 33115 Louise Ave, on the north side of 14 Mile Road, just east of Kelly Road. The shop is appointment only, so please book before you set out.
I cannot give up a whole day. How do coating customers handle the distance?
Two ways. Uber is covered for the drop-off and pickup on ceramic coating jobs, so you leave the vehicle and get on with your day. Or ask about our pick-up and drop-off valet when you request a quote. You are at the edge of our range, so we confirm valet by address before promising it. The details are on the ceramic coating in West Bloomfield page.
Are you open on weekends?
No. The shop is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, by appointment, and closed on weekends. Online booking is open 24/7, and you can call or text (586) 400-1303.
What does a detail cost for an SUV?
Our listed prices start from $184.99 for an interior detail, from $139.99 for an exterior detail and from $249.99 for a full detail, on a coupe or sedan in average condition. Anything bigger, an SUV or a truck, gets its own quote for its size before we touch it. See detailing in West Bloomfield.
