Macomb Township sits in the middle of Macomb County, north of Hall Road, with Shelby Township across Hayes Road to the west and 26 Mile Road along the top. It was flat farmland not long ago. Most of the houses here have gone up since 1990, and building has not stopped. That history decides what lands on your paint and what ends up in your carpet.
Salt on the main roads, not on your street
The county clears state and primary roads first. Inside subdivisions it salts only at entrances, exits, intersections and hills. So the salt on your rocker panels comes from the through roads: Hall Road, Romeo Plank and the mile roads. You pick it up on every winter trip out and park it in the driveway.
Dust while the township fills in
New houses and road projects mean open dirt. It dries to a fine dust that settles on parked cars and comes in as mud on the first wet day. Wiping that dust off dry is how swirl marks start. It needs a proper wash, not a towel.
Ball fields, a dog park and the back seat
Macomb Corners Park has six ball diamonds, eight soccer fields and two sand volleyball courts. Pitchford Park on Romeo Plank has separate large and small dog areas. What comes home from both goes into the back seat and cargo area: infield dirt, sand, grass and dog hair.

From the middle of the township the direct way down is Romeo Plank Road south to Cass Avenue, then Groesbeck Highway (M-97) south to Kelly Road and 14 Mile Road. From the west side, Garfield Road runs straight south to 14 Mile. We are on the north side of 14 Mile, just east of Kelly Road.
Detailing is the part that comes up to you: interior, exterior or the whole vehicle, in your driveway or where you work. Coatings, window film and machine polishing are done indoors at the shop, because they need steady light, clean air and time to cure. If the drive does not fit your day, valet pickup collects the vehicle and brings it back.
