What tint changes on a car that parks in Birmingham.

Curb parking puts people at your window
The city has about 1,200 parking meters, and its motto is A Walkable Community. A car at the curb has foot traffic passing its side glass. Every pattern is cut on a plotter for your exact year, make and model, so no blade touches the glass, and the film goes on indoors at our Clinton Township shop. From downtown, take Woodward south to 14 Mile Road and follow 14 Mile east. We are about 17 miles from central Birmingham, on the north side of the road just east of Kelly Road.
The front two windows take about 1.5 hours. Full sides and rear glass take about 3.5. Most installs are finished the day you drop off. If a weekday run over to Macomb County does not fit, ask about valet pickup: we collect the vehicle in Birmingham, install the film and bring it back.

What tint is legal on my car in Michigan?

Can you tint my car in my driveway or at my office in Birmingham?
No. Film has to go on indoors, away from the wind, dust and pollen that get trapped under it and cause peeling and bubbling. Every install is done at the shop. If you would rather not make the drive, pick-up and drop-off valet brings the vehicle to us and returns it tinted.

I work downtown. How do I fit an install into a weekday?
Two ways. Drive over in the morning: we are open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, by appointment, and full sides and rear glass take about 3.5 hours. Or stay at your desk and use valet pickup. We collect the vehicle, tint it and return it. Either way, the windows stay up for 3 to 4 days afterward. The city parking structures have you pull a ticket, tap a card or scan a pass on the way in, so plan on opening the door to reach the machine that week. A light haze or a small water pocket in the first week is normal.
